WhenEuphoria first premiered in 2019, the HBO drama became a style and beauty phenomenon.

The array of over-the-top and designer outfits in season 1 was far from what your average high schooler wore, but it sure made for captivating television. And while the series, now in its third season, has evolved from its Y2K-inspired outfits and glittery beauty looks, Euphoria has continued to deliver several talked-about fashion moments.

"They're all in these different places in their lives," costume designer Natasha Newman-Thomas, who replaced Emmy-winning designer Heidi Bivens for season 3, told Coveteur in April 2026. "We really wanted to dive into who they'd become and who they are now, and let that speak to why they express themselves the way they do through wardrobe."

From Maddy's purple Carnival set in season 1 to Jules' daring wedding guest gown in season 3, here's a look back at some of the most memorable fashion moments on Euphoria.

Only Maddy would show up to a carnival in a purple bra top and matching cutout pants. Along with hoop earrings and dramatic crystal-embellished eye makeup, this was certainly one of Maddy’s most memorable looks.

It even drew comparisons to Selena Quintanilla’s iconic purple jumpsuit, which the Tejano singer wore at her final concert before her tragic death in 1995.

It’s noteworthy any time Rue (Zendaya) wasn't wearing her signature maroon hoodie in season 1, so her carnival outfit was one to remember. She wore a simple black crop top and pants underneath a brown trench coat, but her makeup was the real star; the smattering of glitter underneath her eyes was drastically different from her usual bare-faced look.

Season 2 of the hit HBO show started off with a bang. Along with her strappy heels, Y2K-inspired headband and sharp-as-nails eyeliner, Maddy's look that episode was nothing short of iconic.

One of season 2’s most heavily quoted and meme’d scenes took place in the Euphoria high school bathroom when Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) appeared in a country western ensemble featuring a blue plaid minidress with larger-than-life hair and exaggerated makeup.

The getup led the characters to assume she’s auditioning for the musical Oklahoma!, but in reality, she’s trying to impress Maddy’s ex-boyfriend, Nate, with whom she’s having a secret relationship.
