Whether you're observing holidays this weekend or just looking for a chill night in, studios have got you covered.
This weekend, April 4-5, the first of Zendaya's five (yup, you read that right) projects this year hits the big screen, and as its title suggests, it is sure to cause some drama.
Fiery rom-coms not for you, as you have kids on spring break to entertain? Fret not, the sequel to the 2023 Super Mario Bros movie is here with a plethora of new one-liners for kids to repeat without end.
Meanwhile, on streaming, a rare heartwarming reality dating show is back for a fourth season, while a Netflix docuseries looks back on an iconic basketball player's struggles with addiction.
And there's more! Here's a list of the seven best new movies and shows to watch this weekend and where to stream them, curated by PEOPLE's film and TV experts.
The Drama
All engaged couples should still carry a little mystery…right? The besotted Charlie (Robert Pattinson) and his bookish love Emma (Zendaya) are headed down the aisle in The Drama, a black romantic comedy about a betrothed couple crossing off items on their to-do list in the days before their wedding.
But what begins with throwbacks to their sweet meet-cute swiftly turns into something far more sinister.
At a final tasting with their best man (Mamoudou Athie) and maid of honor (Alana Haim), the Boston-based couple are goaded into revealing the worst thing they’ve ever done. Charlie soon spills his most shameful deed, but it’s Emma’s drunken disclosure that contorts everything she and Charlie thought they knew about each other into chaos. — ANDREA MANDELL
The Drama releases in theaters on April 3.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Three years after Jack Black blessed (or cursed, depending on your perspective) the world with "Peaches," he's back as the voice of Bowser, the main antagonist of the Mario Bros.
In The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt), Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day) and their friends journey into outer space to fight Bowser. Along the way, they meet the beloved Princess Rosalina (Brie Larson). — REBECCA AIZIN

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island
Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but it has some fiery ladies to make up for it — and they're finally claiming their time in the limelight in the first new Housewives show since 2022.
The cast includes Bachelor franchise alum Ashley Iaconetti, as well as Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Alicia Carmody, Kelsey Swanson, Rulla Nehme, Elizabeth McGraw and Rosie DiMare. — REBECCA AIZIN

Pizza Movie
Smiley Face meets 22 Jump Street in this unapologetically goofy fever dream of a Gen Z stoner comedy.
Despite a surprising lack of screentime for the titular treat, Jack (Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo) and Montgomery’s (Sean Giambrone) endearing friendship and quest to find pizza after taking a questionable drug leaves viewers well-fed — with silly cameos from Daniel Radcliffe and SNL’s Sarah Sherman for dessert. — BAILEY RICHARDS
