Bath & Body Works doesn’t have plans to restock its “Pizza & Ranch” candle, which was part of its limited-edition Perfecting Pairings candles launched for its annual Candle Day

This comes after several customers negatively reacted to the candle and its smell on TikTok, Facebook and on the company's website

Bath & Body Works is putting to rest one of its newest scented candles — which has been getting mixed reactions from customers.

The company doesn’t have plans to restock its “Pizza & Ranch” candle, which was part of its limited-edition Perfecting Pairings candles launched for Candle Day 2025, per a statement from Bath & Body obtained by USA Today.

This comes after several Bath & Body Works customers shared their reactions to the new candle online — and several turned out to be extremely negative.

Bath & Body did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on the candle.

One woman shared a photo of the candle alongside the company’s “Holiday Dill-ight” candle on Facebook with the caption, “These candles are getting out of hand. The pizza & ranch one was literally one of the most foul things I’ve ever smelled in my entire life.”

Several Bath & Body Works customers could also be seen reacting to the scent in disgust in a TikTok video.

The video was captioned,” This is your sign to never try the pizza and ranch and the chips and salsa candles from bath and body works. #fyp #pizzandranchcandle #gross #disgusting #gonnarech @Anna @katiie.powers.”

Several people in the comments also chimed in on their thoughts on the Pizza & Ranch candle, with one person writing, “Smelt the pizza one by accident, like FULL SNIFF and I actually saw my life flash before my eyes.”

However, not all consumers thought that the candle scents were all bad.

“Among many more.. yes I did buy the pickle, chips and salsa. And yes I do like them. I love food, what can I say😁,” one fan wrote.

The Pizza & Ranch 3-wick candle currently has a 1.5 star rating out of 216 reviews on the brand’s website. According to its website, it is currently out of stock online and its price has been cut down from $25.95 to $7.99.

According to the candle’s description, it has “gooey cheese” fragrance notes with “crispy pepperonis and ranch.” It adds, “Feel the stress of the week melting away by diving into your favorite duo—hot pepperoni pizza and creamy ranch dip.”

The scent was released alongside other duos like Coffee & Donuts, Chips & Salsa and Popcorn & Slushie for Bath and Body Work's annual Candle Day on Dec. 4. The event also brought back the brand's limited-edition Holiday Dill-ight candle.
