There was a lot of quivering going on from *Heated Rivalry* star Connor Storrie at the Golden Globes, just not the kind of quivering his legions of followers are used to.

Storrie came out on stage at the 2026 ceremony in Los Angeles with costar Hudson Williams to present the award for Best Supporting TV Actress, which *Adolescence *actress Erin Doherty won.

The bit began with two UFC fighters who emerged to serve as their personal bodyguards against any ravenous super-fans. Though that part of the bit didn't quite land, Storrie followed Williams out to the podium, shaking profusely from nerves of attending their first Globes.

Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" played as Storrie and Williams approached the mic.

"Hi. I'm sorry, it's a little nerve-wracking here being at our very first Golden Globes," Storrie, the Texas native behind Ilya Rozanov, began the comedic act.

Williams suggested taking a deep breath and picturing everyone... He trailed off, letting the audience and viewers at home fill in the blank.

"You know," he eventually said.

Storrie replied, "Yeah, I don't know if that works, considering everyone has seen us...you know."

They questioned whether everyone in the audience has seen *Heated Rivalry* to know what they're talking about, but Storrie joked, "Their trainers have and their moms have, their daughters have." And, you know, a lot of others have.

Despite its massive global success, *Heated Rivalry* was not eligible to receive Golden Globes nominations, due to the fact it was an entirely Canadian-produced TV series; however, the ceremony's producers were clearly keen to incorporate the series' stars into the awards show itself.

Earlier in the night, host Nikki Glaser cracked a joke about the show's hype.

"I don't wanna get too serious, but stories like these don't always get told," she said. "The success of *Heated Rivalry* is proof that American audiences are ready for more shows about hockey, okay?"

The duo kept stealing the show by ranking among the top trending topics on social media platforms with their red carpet appearances. Williams made an appropriately horny joke during an interview with Gayle King, while Storrie's interactions with *The Bear* star Ayo Edebiri made the rounds online.**
