Despite the on-screen scandals and complex relationships in Your Friends & Neighbors, the real-life cast is much luckier in love.

The Apple TV show follows John Hamm’s Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a former hedge fund manager who is let go from his job and resorts to stealing from his affluent neighbors to stay afloat.

In addition to Coop’s double-life, the soapy drama chronicles complicated relationships and secret affairs between characters, including Coop's ex-wife Mel (Amanda Peet) leaving him for his best friend (Mark Tallman) and Coop’s fling Sam (Olivia Munn).

While the characters epitomize “rich people behaving badly,” the real-life loves of the cast have much stronger relationships.

Here’s everything to know about the real-life partners of the Your Friends & Neighbors cast.

John Hamm and Anna Osceola

Hamm, who plays Coop, met his wife Anna Osceola on the set of Mad Men.

They crossed paths while filming the show’s finale in 2015, during which Osceola played a receptionist at the spiritual retreat that Hamm’s character Don Draper attended.

Osceola started her acting career with the 2007 TV movie Not Another High School Show, and went on to small parts in shows like Rizzoli & Isles, Law & Order True Crime and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

A few years after their meeting, Hamm and Osceola were spotted together on several occasions in 2020, and got engaged in 2023. They married on June 24, 2023 at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, Calif. — the same location where part of the Mad Men finale was shot.

Shortly before their wedding, Hamm told iHeartRadio Table for Two podcast host Bruce Bozzi that marriage is the “exciting part of life,” and “it gives you and your partner a sense of stability and comfort and an identifying capacity that is better, deeper, richer.”

The couple starred together in the 2022 movie Confess, Fletch. Osceola also appeared in six episodes of Your Friends and Neighbors season 1, in a small part as Maggie Haber, one of Mel’s friends.

Amanda Peet and David Benioff

Peet plays Coop’s ex-wife in the show, but in real life, the actress is married to her husband, screenwriter David Benioff.

Peet first met Benioff, who co-created Game of Thrones, on a blind date in 2002. Afterward, they decided to play a prank on their mutual friend, Peter Blake, who set them up. Peet emailed Blake joking that Benioff was a “freak” and “started bawling about his ex-girlfriend” in the restaurant.

When Peet and Benioff married in New York City in September 2006, Blake read the email aloud at the wedding, Peet recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in April 2025.

Today, the pair are parents to three kids: Frankie (born in February 2007), Molly (in April 2010) and Henry (in December 2014).

In May 2020, Peet told Variety that Benioff is “very supportive” of her career, and became the “full-on parent” while she filmed Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story.

“Since he had just come off nine years on Game of Thrones, I think we both felt it was my turn!” she told the outlet.

Benioff has also been there for her during her recent breast cancer diagnosis, which she wrote about in a 2026 essay for The New Yorker.

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney

Olivia Munn, who plays Sam in the show, and comedian John Mulaney have been together for nearly five years.

The couple began dating in 2021, after Munn publicly supported Mulaney’s recovery from addiction. That June, they were spotted side-by-side and later announced in September that they were expecting their first child.

Muley and Munn welcomed their son Malcolm Hiệp in December 2021. Three years later, in September 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Méi June.

In between the births of their two children, Mulaney and Munn married in a private ceremony at a friend’s home in New York in July 2024 after keeping their engagement under wraps.

The wedding took place a few months after Munn opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis, through which Mulaney supported her. “It would’ve felt like climbing an iceberg without him,” Munn told PEOPLE at the time.

Despite both of their busy schedules and juggling parenthood, the pair have said they find time to spend together. They often share photos of their family on social media, from celebrating milestones to outings.

James Marsden and Frederique Brons

James Marsden, who has joined the cast for season 2, is dating model Frederique Brons.

Marsden and the Dutch model were first spotted kissing in 2023, and kept their relationship under the radar.

However, they made their red carpet debut at the Emmy Awards in 2025. The couple went on to make other appearances, including at the French Open, U.S. Open and a Knicks game.

Marsden has two children — son Jack and daughter Mary — with his ex-wife Lisa Linde, who he was married to for 11 years before their divorce in 2011. He also shared his youngest son William with ex-girlfriend Rose Costa.

Hoon Lee and Sekiya Billman

Hoon Lee, who plays Coop’s best friend Barney Choi in the show, married his wife Sekiya Billman in 2008.

Lee and Billman, who is a stage actress, first connected through theater in 2001, while both performing with Second Generation, an Asian-American theater company in Manhattan.

In the early 2000s, they founded Mr. Miyagi’s Theatre Company with a group of friends and Asian-American actors, and created the Off-Broadway show Sides: The Fear Is Real, which they recently revived in 2021.

The couple married in 2008 at Bubby’s restaurant in Brooklyn, and later welcomed a son together, whom they raised in Queens.

While Lee and Billman keep their personal life private, Lee told The Charlotte Observer in March 2015 that wrapping the action series Banshee, he and Billman relocated their family to Charlotte — noting that while New York was “exciting,” Charlotte offered was a “great place for [our son] to run around and be a kid.”

“The nature of this business is such that I don’t know where we’ll be in five years, so we have to embrace where we are in a given moment and make the most of it,” Lee told the outlet.

Mark Tallman and Jessica Moye Tallman

Mark Tallman, who plays Nick Brandes in the show, has been married to his wife Jessica Moye Tallman for more than 20 years.

Tallman and Moye met while they were in college at different universities and Tallman proposed a month after their graduation, Moye shared in an Instagram post for their 20th anniversary in June 2025. They married at a small church in Moye’s hometown in 2005.

The couple are parents to two sons. Though they keep personal details, including their children's names, private, Tallman has shared how they balance their busy schedules. (Moye owns a consultancy and works as assistant to the president of the Pratt Institute, according to her LinkedIn.)

“At this point in my life, it’s all about my family,” Tallman told Numero Netherlands in April 2025. “With schedules as complicated as ours, my wife, Jessica and I are intentional about scheduling consistent date nights for ourselves, especially since we spend so much of our ‘free time’ driving our children to what feels like 100 soccer practices and games every week. ... And we love every second of it.”

Lena Hall and Jonathan Stein

Lena Hall, who plays Coop’s younger sister Allison, and her husband Jonathan Stein eloped in 2019 in Bermuda.

The Broadway actress and Tony-winner met Stein (a NY-based Douglas Elliman realtor, according to his Instagram) on a dating app suggested to her by singer Josh Groban. Stein proposed on Christmas Eve in December 2018 with a vintage 1920’s diamond ring.

The couple eloped at the Unfinished Church in Bermuda in May 2019 with only two witnesses and an officiant.

Hall and Stein also aren’t shy about sharing their love on social media. Stein has called Hall his “badass, rockstar wife” in a 2023 Instagram post.

“A woman who’s never yelled at me for driving too fast, dreaming too big, or being too loud,” he wrote.

Aimee Carrero and Tim Rock

Aimee Carrero, who plays the housekeeper for Coop’s ex-wife and Nick, welcomed a daughter with her husband, actor Tim Rock, in 2025.

The couple married in Aspen, Co., in August 2016 after a series of missed connections. The couple told Harper’s Bazaar that Rock’s friend and future best man had tried to set them up years prior, but it wasn’t until three years later that the two finally connected.

Their wedding, at Starpeak Estate above Aspen, “felt like we were on top of the world,” Carrero told Harper’s Bazaar.

Two years later, Rock appeared in an episode of Carrero’s Young & Hungry — playing a dentist Carrero’s character was set up with — and on June 5, 2025, they welcomed their first child, their daughter Inez.

Before their daughter’s birth, Carrero wished Rock a happy birthday on Instagram, calling him the “light of my life.” She added in the post, “With some luck, our child will be like you in every way imaginable. May she always look at you like you hung the moon because, to me, you have.”
