Jessica Capshaw, the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw and her ex-husband Robert Capshaw, showed off her love for her stepfather, Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg, after the trailer for his long-awaited next movie finally dropped.
The Grey's Anatomy star took to Instagram on Dec. 17 to share the trailer with her followers and fans, adding a sweet message praising her stepdad. She wrote in the caption, "Turns out being proud of your dad never ages out. Disclosure Day is in theaters 06.12.26."

In the trailer, a character says through voiceover, "If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?"
Disclosure Day has a star-studded, talented cast of actors, with Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor leading the cast alongside Bono's daughter Eve Hewson, a rising actress in the industry, and other major names like Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell.
Spielberg's new movie is a sort of callback to his older work, with the acclaimed director's new film a sci-fi story about the world encountering aliens. Fans might be reminded of his past classics, like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

In particular, there were many fans of Blunt in the replies, with quite a few people noting that they'd watch anything she was in, such as one who wrote, "Emily Blunt….Say less. Can’t wait."
This will be Spielberg's first film since his critically acclaimed 2022 movie called The Fabelmans, a coming-of-age tale starring Michelle Williams, Gabriel LaBelle, and Paul Dano. It will also be the director's first movie in the science-fiction genre since 2018's Ready Player One.
