King Charles shows sweet affection for Queen Camilla in touching royal moment

King Charles and Queen Camilla may have tied the knot back in 2005, but their bond appears as strong as ever, evident in the tender moments they share.
Last November, during a reception honoring VJ veterans, the King was spotted striding quickly through the halls of Windsor Castle before suddenly stopping in his tracks to check on Camilla. He paused and turned around to check whether Camilla had caught up with him. Once he made sure she was following, Charles walked ahead and greeted guests.
The endearing couple's moment captured hearts across social media, with royal admirers noting that the King and Queen are refreshingly down-to-earth, just like any ordinary pair. The sweet exchange comes as King Charles' move regarding Prince Harry was also recently brought to light.

One royal enthusiast gushed on X, describing Charles and Camilla as "just like every day married couple," calling the moment "cute." Another person added, "He always makes sure she is there before leaving."
"A sweet moment yesterday during a reception at Windsor Castle as King Charles was waiting on Queen Camilla," a third person chimed in.

During a 2020 interview on BBC Radio 5 Live with Emma Barnett, Camilla, 79, revealed that Charles, 77, has a habit of leaving everyone "miles behind" due to his brisk walking pace. She said, "He'll walk and walk and walk. He's like a mountain goat, he leaves everybody miles behind."
Emma asked, "So you're the silver swan, and he's the mountain goat?" Camilla agreed, "I'm the ancient silver swan, and he's the mountain goat, yes!"
She also described her husband as the "fittest man" she knows for his age. Earlier this year, Charles surprised joggers when he turned up at the local parkrun to support runners completing the 5km course.
King Charles III was diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer in 2024. He underwent successful treatment while maintaining a demanding schedule of royal engagements.

Royal photographer Chris Jackson discussed the King's tireless approach during an appearance on Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Weekend, saying, "Even keeping up with the King today is really hard work. He's working left, right, and center with so many engagements."
The King's diagnosis came to light after another issue was detected during a procedure to treat a benign enlarged prostate. Palace officials have since confirmed that it is not prostate cancer.
Subsequently, the King personally shared an update on his health, describing himself as "not too bad."
