Twice as nice!
Paris Saint-Germain stamped their mark in history when they beat Arsenal in penalty kicks after a 1-1 game to capture their second straight UEFA Champions League title on Saturday, May 30 at Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary. They are the first club to earn consecutive titles since Real Madrid won the championship three straight years from 2015 to 2017.
While the internet flocked to congratulate the Gunners winning the Premier League earlier in the month, it's now PSG's turn to be showered in praise.
It might seem like Arsenal's celebrity fanbase is much larger than the French opponent. Former NBA MVP Nikola Jokić was at Puskás Aréna cheering the English team on, while Jason Sudeikis was watching the match with a group of Gooners at a bar in Kansas City. Rapper 21 Savage is a known Arsenal supporter as is F1 icon Lewis Hamilton, award-winning actress Anne Hathaway and New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani.
But Paris Saint-Germain is not without its superstar supporters. Victor Wembanyama, who has been dominating the NBA playoffs, and Rudy Gobert, are fans of the side from their home country. French F1 drivers Isack Hadjar, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, as well as French artist DJ Snake, also support Luis Enrique's club.
Several of them took to social media to celebrate Paris Saint-Germain's back-to-back titles.
Ronaldinho congratulated his former club with a post on X. The soccer icon played with Paris Saint-Germain from 2001 to 2003.
"Double Champions of Europe!!!" he wrote in French with a series of trophy and clapping emojis.
DJ Snake made two posts on X, one with two stars to represent the two titles and a second saying in French, "1 time is historic, 2 times is legendary."
Gobert shared his excitement at the win on X as well.

"Back to back," he said with the French hashtag that translates to "Here is Paris."
Gasly also celebrated on the social media platform with two trophy emojis and three red hearts.
Hadjar, who is of French and Algerian descent, shared PSG's graphic celebrating the back-to-back titles to his Instagram stories.
Fellow sports entities Roland Garros, Barcelona, Real Madrid congratulate PSG on 2026 Champions League titles
As soon as Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions League final with Gabriel's missed penalty kick, shouts of joy were heard across the world. Cheers erupted at the French Open at Roland Garros. The tennis arena is about half a mile away from PSG's Parc des Princes stadium.
The official X account for Roland Garros congratulated their fellow French sport entity.
"BACK-TO-BACK," the post said with red and blue heart emojis. "Congratulations to our neighbours @PSG_inside for a second @ChampionsLeague title."
FC Barcelona and Real Madrid also applauded the Ligue 1 club for the historic accomplishment.
"Congratulations to PSG on winning the UEFA Champions League, and to Luis Enrique on adding another title to his list of achievements," Barça wrote on X.
"Congratulations to @PSG_inside and its fans for their well-deserved Champions League 2025-2026," the Real Madrid account added in Spanish.
