Sarah Jessica Parker is looking back on her late nights while filming Sex and the City.

The actress, 61, spills the details about her “ridiculous” costume fittings with designer Molly Rogers while working on the hit comedy series and its revival, And Just Like That.

While speaking with PEOPLE at a Primark event in New York City, Parker says she would “put anything on” during fittings with Rogers, who worked with lead costume designer Patricia Field on the original show.

“It would be 2 or 3 or 4 a.m., and we had just finished shooting, and I was in a fitting and they would have some of the most insane stuff,” she recalls wistfully about her years in the Sex and the City universe.

“There are Polaroids. There is documentation of these things. I would put anything on for them, because you never know,” the star adds of her fittings and the fun clothes she got to wear.

Parker recalls those nights as “just so ridiculous,” noting that they were in a different stage of their lives at the time.

“It was so much fun, and none of us had kids, none of us had to run home for any reason,” she remembers. “I will absolutely put anything on for Molly Rogers.”

The fashion icon also says Rogers has connections “all over the globe.”

“She's like, ‘There's a woman. I met a woman. She's in Albany.’ It's true. She'd go into people's homes… Digging through some stuff in an attic in Albany or Georgia or somewhere outside London,” Parker says of Rogers.

Rogers, who most recently was the fashion designer for 2026's The Devil Wears Prada 2, worked with Parker on the Sex and the City series, movies and revival. She won an Emmy for her work in 2002.

At an event with Fashionphile in celebration of the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Rogers admitted there were Sex and the City looks she envisioned for Parker that didn’t make it on the screen.

“It is astounding. My favorite pieces did not get into that television series,” Rogers said.

She also recalled an episode in the original series where Parker was “doing a walk and talk with Miranda in SoHo” and “her dress dry rotted off of her.”

“She loved things that were so close to disintegrating," Rogers said of Parker.
