On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Swift, 35, attended a special screening of the first two episodes of her upcoming Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era in New York City, alongside the dancers, backup singers and band that made her record-breaking Eras Tour possible. The "Opalite" singer's reunion was captured in a big group photo featuring her and her tourmates on the red carpet.

The special screening was hosted by Disney+ and took place at the Walt Disney Company’s 7 Hudson Square. In addition to the Eras Tour performers and members of Swift's family, Disney co-chairman Dana Walden was also in attendance and posed for a photo with Swift.

The six-part End of an Era docuseries premieres Friday, Dec. 12, on Disney+, with two episodes rolling out each week. Directed by Don Argott, co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce and produced by Object & Animal, the series "gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world," per a release.

"In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew and family members — offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon," the release continued.

The End of an Era was first announced by Swift herself during an Oct. 13 appearance on Good Morning America. At the time, she revealed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show will also premiere on Disney+ on Dec. 12. The Final Show is a live recording of the last stop on the Eras Tour, which took place on Dec. 8, 2024, at BC Place Stadium, in Vancouver, Canada.

The filmed concert includes footage of Swift performing songs from her album The Tortured Poets Department. That era was not included in the first concert film since the album had not been released at the time.

Swift has been teasing the release of both projects on her social media. On Nov. 13, she shared the first trailer for The End of an Era on her Instagram alongside the caption, "Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. 'The End of an Era.' a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12 🫶."

Then, on Dec. 1, she shared The Final Show trailer, writing, "Just 11 days until the final show of The Eras Tour is all yours. The Final Show now featuring THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT on @disneyplus beginning December 12 ✨🎂."

Swift's Eras Tour was a record-breaking smash hit, grossing more than $2 billion in ticket sales. Ahead of the release of her The Life of a Showgirl album in October, the Grammy winner reflected on the experience in an interview on BBC Radio 1.

"I knew it was crazy what was happening," she said. "We have never had anything happen like that. I've been with my band for a very long time. My tour, my crew, my touring family, my team ... we're all very close and have been forever and none of us have ever had anything like that happen."

At the time, she also said she wasn't ready to go back on tour just yet. "I'm gonna be really honest with you. Like, I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I would want to do it really, really well again," she said, adding, "I'm so good right now."

The End of an Era and The Last Show both premiere Friday, Dec. 12, on Disney+.
